For questions about the French author Marcel Proust (1871–1922) or about any of his literary works, most famously the long novel "À la recherche du temps perdu", translated as "In Search of Lost Things" or "Remembrance of Things Past".
Marcel Proust is best known for his novel À la recherche du temps perdu (a-la-recherche-du-temps-perdu), published between 1913 and 1927, but he also wrote several other works, some of which were published posthumously:
- Les plaisirs et les jours, a collection of prose poems and novellas first published in 1896;
- Pastiches et mélanges (1919);
- Contre Sainte-Beuve: an unfinished collection of literary criticism, published posthumously in 1954;
- Jean Santeuil: an unfinished novel that is a kind of precursor of À la recherche du temps perdu and which was published posthumously in 1952.
