Alan Moore (born 1953) is an English writer known for the graphic novels Watchmen, V for Vendetta and From Hell, among others.

He has also published two novels set in his home county of Northamptonshire, and has written and contributed to several comic book serials, including Swamp Thing and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
