There is an English translation entitled *The Battle of the Birds* in [the transcript of this podcast](https://www.thefrenchhistorypodcast.com/podcast/54-the-carolingian-renaissance/). [Note: this link is now dead, but the full translation is included in the book *Poetry of the Carolingian Renaissance* by Peter Godman.] The translated section starts: > There is a place at the very edge of the region around Toulouse and Cahors: both districts end at this place. This corresponds to the Latin lines: > Nempe Tolosani locus est rurisque Caturci Extimus, hoc finit pagus uterque loco, which are the seventh and eight lines of the poem, so it's not quite a "full rendition", but it's fairly close.
