Please help me figure out what book this is! In college I had a book about war poetry that was "borrowed". I'd dearly love to acquire another copy but I am having a hard time figuring out exactly what book it was. Here are the only details I have to offer:

I had a copy in college so it had to have been published in the early 90's or before. It was called either "War Poems" or "War Poetry" (I think) It had a black cover It was not a thick tome. Maybe 100 to 150 pages tops.

Anyone have any idea what it could have been?

Do you remember any details about the poems it contained? Specific authors? Some striking stanzas? – muru Jul 22 '18 at 2:01

What country was it published in (or what country were you at college in)? – Chappo Jul 22 '18 at 8:26
  • @muru Sadly, I do not remember any of the specifics of the poems inside it. – zeeple Jul 22 '18 at 23:26
  • @Chappo, I went to school in the USA. – zeeple Jul 22 '18 at 23:26
  • Could it be Christopher Logue's War Music, of 1981 ? This is not a book about war poetry or an anthology of war poetry, but rather a long poem about war. – kimchi lover Jul 25 '18 at 0:31
