In Shaw's play Arms and the Man Raina iss informed that there will be shootings on the street and she should close all doors and windows. She leaves the main balcony window unlocked and suddenly a Serbian/Swiss soldier (Bluntschli) comes in. In fact he was seen by the Bulgarian/Russian soldiers and they come into Raina’s room searching for him. Raina for some reason hides Bluntschli but forgets about his pistol. Louka, Raina’s maid, sees the pistol but doesn’t say anything to anybody. Why?
